| Most of the
pinstriping I do is on antique or horse drawn vehicles. To the right is a
Stanley steam car. Below is a 1911 Brush. There is a Budweiser parade wagon from Pomona, CA and a new hay wagon for a horse ranch. I was the striper for a few years at the Southwest Wagon and Wheel Works in Arizona. I put lines on many more horse drawn vehicles, but took few photos. It is really hard to photograph pinstripes and have it look like anything interesting. Pinstripes are meant to be viewed as you walk around a vehicle. A video camera would document pinstriping better than a still camera. The black and red vehicle is a Hansom cab. This was used as a taxi in an east coast city around 1900. |
