MODERN ERA VEHICLES

I have decorated only a few trucks that are younger than me. After World War II fire vehicles had a simpler look with modest stripes and corner brackets. Trucks of the 1950's and later are starting to become collectable. Perhaps I will decorate more of them in the future.

There are many new trucks with interesting custom decorations, especially as art on the cab door. On my Links page you can find some web sites that show artists that are carrying the tradition of engine decoration into the present day.
