This company is a descendant of the Moses Latta Company that built the first steam fire engine in America. Chris Ahrens and his son in law Charles Fox joined to form their new company about 1904. Their motorized engines can be easily spotted in a crowd by the front mounted piston pump. The distinctive spherical air chamber crowns the pump. These engines are famous for their strong and dependable pumping ability. |
