This page contains fonts that have been very popular in commercial printing and advertising. They are all easy to read and have stood the test of time. Some are 200 years old and still used regularly.

Over time these fonts have been drawn and redrawn. The original design has been altered to suit different tastes and applications. Below are the letters ABCE shown in Garamond Bold by three different type companies. The Garamond on your computer may not match the Garamond on mine. The differences are usually minute but this can matter to some people.
