| Andy Swift is
the owner of Firefly Restoration. His business is in Hope, Maine. Most of the
restored fire vehicles on these pages are from his shop. I am a subcontractor for
Firefly, applying the gold and painted decoration. We
have worked together for over 20 years. I'm sure he has worked on more than
200 antique fire vehicles. He knows his stuff.
Andy does most of the
restoration in his shop with a small crew. He coordinates with
specialists for certain aspects of the job such as machining, woodwork,
upholstery, plating and decoration. By bringing in experts in these fields,
Firefly produces a very high quality restoration. This is how the original

factories operated, with different departments of specialists.
